Can you conceive with early ovulation ?

I'm pretty certain i ovulated on cycle day 6, sharp pain on my left ovary and EWCM. Would it be possible to conceive do you think ?

I wouldn't of thought you would of built up a thick enough lining by then but I'm not an expert, have you tried using a clear blue monitor at all? When I did I found I was ovulating later then my symptoms x

That's what i thought, the lining wouldn't be thick enough. I haven't used the clear blue monitor but did try the clear blue digital ovulation test for a couple of cycles. I got a positive result around cycle days 12-15. Never had any increased discharge though. It was very weird this cycle, i had definate twinges for 2 days and the EWCM on Tuesday morning. Haven't seen anything since though. Was definately the same discharge that i used to always see a few years ago. Very doubtful i would have conceived but seeing that has given me a bit of hope. Maybe things are getting back to normal at last x

I always give myself hope, (false in my case) last month I bled at day 20 and convinced myself it was implantation, the month before it was 28, but its just a sign of my failing ovaries! X

Be positive Lauren! As long as you are still having periods, however messed up, it's a good sign. I'm hopeful after seeing the EWCM. I was lucky in that up until a few years ago i was highly fertile, used to see loads of this stuff around ovulation time. DTD as soon as i saw it and hey presto, 2 weeks later i got a BFP!! This happened when i conceived all of my children. Of course i realise that things aren't quite the same now due to my age and my high FSH and it's going to be more of a challenge to conceive but i don't believe i'm out of the game yet. It's like i can 'feel' that my body is desperately trying to give me that one last child! x
