Iui - private - costs?

Im new to mumsnet, so im sorry if im posting in the wrong place.

Im just wondering if theres any private iui ladies out there and how much your paying? im going to leeds (seacroft) and will be starting after lap& dye in a few months.

im just wondering, what drugs your having and what cost they are please?

i just cant seem to get an answer for drug costs :(

If you're starting out on your journey, is there a reason you think you need iui??

Gps don't get involved with ttc until you've tried without success for at least 6 months, but in some cases more than two years...

Sorry I don't know a price for you as I've only done ivf and the drug price was wrapped into an ivf 'package' price. However...My friend was told she could take her prescription to a pharmacy at Asda or Sainsbury's. They will have to order the drugs in but will work out much cheaper than ordering through her private clinic. That might be an option?

I'm in a same sex relationship. That's what I keep reading as well but I do read that I have to get referred by a gp? Is that when you go private as well?
