Present idea for friend starting IVF?

Not sure if anyone with experience of IVF can help? She's been on pill, is now having testosterone gel rubbed in and is going to have to start injections in a week. I know she's nervous about the injections and just wanted to get her something to make her smile/ show her I'm thinking of her. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm going through ivf at the moment and I'd say any present that would help distract would be helpful for your friend. She may not be able to venture out alot over the past few weeks if she's having to take her injections at a set time but I've found box sets a good distraction, particularly comedy. Anything to try and take her mind off of it would be really thoughtful and useful. You're a lovely friend for even thinking of this!

Chocolate, lots of chocolate. I've jist finished my first cycle of IVF and have eaten tonnes of the stuff. Box sets are also a great idea. Keep her busy in the 2ww as it is hell.

Chocolate and box sets definitely. Also, you are advised to avoid strongly perfumed products around the time of egg collection and transfer (can affect the embryos apparently) so maybe some lovely natural, un or lightly fragranced toiletries so she can still pamper herself. Neals Yard do lovely stuff and their staff are very knowledgable.
