FSH and estrodiol

Had blood tests for infertility and have higher than average FSH plus an estrodiol score of 92 (day 3 tests)

Does anyone know more about average or 'normal' results for these tests. I'm 31, internet is scaring me as I've read all sorts saying it could mean early menopause!!

Please share any results or stories..

How high was your fsh? Over 10?

Yes, would be interested to know what your definition of high is. I am in Australia and I think we use a different unit of measurement here so would be curious to know what it is measured in rather than just a number.

Anyway, I had a day 3 test and it was higher than average. Then my IVF nurse said that it is better to have the test done on day two. Next cycle I did it on day two and it was much lower. Hope that helps give you some comfort after the internet scaring you.

Oh, and you ask for the average or normal result. I am no expert so I quote from the book written by Dr Sandra CABOT on fertility:

'Normal range 2-20 U/L. The ratio of FSH to LH should be close to 1:1'
