Just about to go and have these done. Any questions I should be asking? I get quite confused about what each test is for. I know 21 days are for progesterone and will tell if I'm ovulating. What will these show?

Thanks

A day 2 or 3 test is done to check and compare your LH (luteinising hormone) against that of your FSH (follicle stimulation hormone). Both of these must be checked AND COMPARED against one another as abnormalities can otherwise be missed. Make sure the two levels are compared to each other when you get the result back!.

LH and FSH are two very important hormones as these kickstart the ovulation process; if these are awry then ovulation can be affected.

If you have cd 21 done I think it needs to be relative to your cycle length as 21 would be for a 28 day cycle so if yours are generally much longer it may need to be done later. But if so you could check with gp.
For cycles of 40 days would probably shoe not ov as it would prob be later
