Hello mawinter
Not really sure I can answer your question, but noticed no one else had replied and couldn't 'read and run' and leave you all alone.
The only similar experience I have had with what you are going through is that I also had a HSG last year and one tube was blocked. I then had a laparoscopy one month later and they cleared the tube and said all was normal. I can only assume that they are a lot more forceful during the lap as you are fully under so they were able to clear the blockage.
Have you been given any insight as to what is causing the high prolactin levels? I know that high prolactin occurs during breastfeeding which stops your periods so that your body can save it's resources for your current breastfeeding baby, so I assume your high levels mean you are having irregular length periods or not ovulating every cycle?
Personally, when I first got an infertility diagnosis, I was really stressed. But after having taken it in and now trying to work around it, I feel a lot better because I know what is going on rather than just wondering and being stressed every cycle. So what are your chances? I think much better once you know the problem! How long have your been TTC? Sounds like you are on the verge of getting some answers and you are in good hands.
I can understand your stress and the next week will probably feel like it is taking forever until you get some answers from your doc. Feel free to vent here in the meantime if me being a listening ear is any help!
My husband has been diagnosed with 100% abnormal sperm morphology and then I have been diagnosed with a low AMH on top of that. We have been through 4 failed IVF's, so I certainly know the pain that this journey can bring.
Feel free to PM me any time as I really find it helpful to talk to others who understand, and obviously you do too to be posting here :)
