How to put back fun in sex?

After coming off BC back in September I had only one period so far and after blood work was diagnosed as not ovulating and fobbed off to a fertility clinic.
Since this news, I have no real desire to DTD in case I actually do Ovulate because it just reminds me of baby making, which is something doctor says it not possible for me anymore. Add to that a diagnose of very thin uterine lining.....

I do feel for you as i'm in a similar situation. I'm 38 and have been trying to conceive for 15 months with no luck. I'm not ovulating either and my periods are irregular. When i do get a period they are very short and light so maybe i have thin uterine lining too. My libido has taken a nosedive as well, i hardly ever fancy sex anymore because i know i won't get pregnant. There's no fun in it anymore and i just think what's the point. How old are you ? If you are under 35 you have a better chance of conceiving. September really isn't that long to have been trying, 2 months, that's no time at all. Experts say it can take around 6 months to a year for a healthy couple to get pregnant. It's likely that your birth control has temporarily stopped you from ovulating. What BC were you using ? If it's the hormonal kind then your cycles could just take a few months to settle down. I'm sure you will be fine and you will fall pregnant soon. In the meantime, try not to think of sex as just a thing you do to make a baby. I know it's hard but try to spice things up. Perhaps dressing-up, role play, sex toys ? It's good that you have a referal to infertility clinic. You would be surprised how much they can do to help you. They can prescribe you Clomid, a drug which kick-starts ovulation. It's supposed to be very good and lots of women have success with it. I'm hoping to be prescribed it at my next clinic appointment. Hang in there and have as much sex as you can! Good luck x

I am 37. While I have been trying to conceive since Sept of this year, its not my first try. I have been trying for 3 years on and off. (I have a thread here about it - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/infertility/1904567-Moving-over-here-from-TTC-board )
I was on Cerazette. I am one of the lucky ones it managed to fuck up.
