Wanting a baby

I want to have a baby so bad!! I have been trying for 8 months and I'm ready to give up. Please give advice!!)),:

Hi RitaaAnn. Firstly, how old are you ? If you are over 35 then you shouldn't wait longer than 6 months if you haven't conceived in that time before seeing your doctor. Fertility can decline very quickly after age 35 in some women. Are you having regular periods and do you know if you are ovulating ? Assuming you are having 28 day cycles every month then you would ovulate around day 14, your most fertile time. There are signs of ovulation to watch out for such as tummy cramps or twinges, tender breasts and increased vaginal mucus. At ovulation your mucus should look very similar to a raw egg white, hence the name given, Egg-white cervical mucus. If you are under age 35 then most doctor like you to try for a baby for a year before consulting them. If that's the case, then you should wait another 4 months. Or you could make an appointment with your doctor now and tell a little lie and say you have been trying for a year already. The first thing a doctor will usually ask for is a sperm sample from your partner to check that everything is ok with him. Also they will want to take blood from you to check your hormone levels. I know exactly how you feel, it's horrible waiting and hoping every month, it can be emotionally draining. I'm 38 and have been trying to conceive for 15 months with no success . It's awful when you keep taking pregnancy tests and they are always negative! Try and eat healthily and try to keep your stress levels down as stress can stop you from getting pregnant. Easier said than done though i know when you want a baby so badly! It's so stressful when you have been trying for a while! Hope i have been of some help x

Wow you are young to be wanting a baby!! At least you haven't got age against you! I'm sure you will get pregnant before too long. As i said, make an appointment with your doctor and tell him youv'e been trying for a year. At least then you should be able to get the ball rolling with tests for you and your partner. In the meantime have lots and lots of sex!! I'd recommend every 2 to 3 days throughout the month. Good luck!
