Ovulation suppression

I've been applying progesterone cream on days 5 - end of cycle to give my ovaries a break. Then in 3 months time, they'll be all refreshed and raring to go. That's the idea anyway! any thoughts?

Iv'e been using progesterone cream to try and stimulate ovulation! Why would you want to give your ovaries a break if you are trying to conceive ?

I'm estrogen dominant so have been advised by my endocrinologist. Have also had cysts so it's to give them a chance to die off. Not unheard of I don't think.

Are you having IVF in 3 months time ? I have ovarian cysts also and some cycles my estrogen is way higher than my progesterone. It's all part of our hormones flucuating as we near the end of our reproductive years. It's called perimenopause.

No, not ivf yet. In fact, still haven't decided on that yet.
