Does anyone know anything about these or had them done? Dh and me went for a consultation at care manchester for a funded cycle of icsi and the doc spent most of the consultation time talking about these tests which are approx 2 grand! Would love to hear any views on this, we had ivf last year which resulted in mmc Sad

Wow loads of responses today so good to hear others thoughts/experiences.

Fox-you've got it! Those are exactly dh's issues. He felt happy at both places tbh, so he's not much help!

I'm off to my gp on monday to try and get my basic blood tests (hiv, fsh, chlamydia etc) done as apparently I can get these done by them. At least I feel like I'm doing something toward making progress.

Actually funny you should mention getting my notes... When I had my consultation at care I specifically asked whether I needed to get my notes and they said no wasn't needed. This did surprise me as I assumed they would. All I can think of is that it's over a year since my blood tests so they are being re-done anyway, and I took the post-review letter from the consultant to care too. I would still expect them to need the notes tho...

I have known immune issues and had ivf with care. I had a bunch of blood tests. mY memory is vague, but I think I got them on the nhs - perhaps I shouldn't have. Maybe I got lucky Confused because I was already under consultant care for the immune issues as they affect other parts of my life, not just fertility.

As a result I was on aspirin, clexane and steroids for the ivf. Clexane was pricey, but other drugs were cheap. It worked for me. Twice.

Best of luck. Hope things work out for you.
