Hello

Has anyone used the CRM clinic in London? I'd be really greatful for any feedback (good or bad). Also if you have any recommendations for other London clinics it would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I have recently finished my first try of ivf with the lister hospital and they were brilliant. I am a bit of a worrier so therefore panicked about every stage of the ivf however everyone there made me feel so relaxed. All went really well and I am now waiting to see if I am pregnant on Monday! I would highly recommend them. Good luck x

Oh good luck Ebright and thanks so much for replying I will definitely look into the Lister. I am a bit nervous and I don't know how to find/choose the right clinic. I just know I want somewhere friendly where they have time for DH and I. It seems like a big decision and I'm not sure where to start. Can I ask how you chose the Lister? :)

I was researching so much on different clinics but ended up going to the lister based on their success rate. However I ended up making such friends with them all and they didn't mind me calling constantly if I was unsure. The nurses were fab and so was Alison the lady who scanned me. The only thing I would say is its expensive but to be honest money doesn't seem to matter when your going through it. Xx

This week we had our first consultation at CRM. Found they were very professional/reassuring/friendly. I have not gone elsewhere as my GP said not to overwhelm yourself by making lots of appointments. I feel very safe in the hands of Dr Foreman who is a leading IVF consultant so we are going ahead with it.
Good luck.

Thank you for your reply DRS, I think we might go to an open evening at both the CRM and the Lister to help make a decision. I'm quietly feeling a bit overwhelmed (and teary) about it all today but hopefully putting some wheels in motion will help me to feel a bit more positive. X

I honestly felt the same. When you have booked your first app you feel better and every app after that. Let me know how you get on x

I went to CRM and found everyone there really kind and the whole experience was as good as it could possibly be, they make it so easy, although it's not the cheapest place. Just had a baby boy following first round of IVF treatment there at the end of last year so very happy (and very lucky).
