So worried for early scan :(

I'm 7 weeks pregnant after ICSI IVF and am absolutely terrified of my scan tomorrow. We had 2 embryos transferred after all the others arrested before transfer and I'm petrified these 2 will have arrested as well (especially as they were an early blast and a morula on 5day transfer.) Any success stories/ warm words of advice? X

It's scary isn't it but you have done well to get to 7 weeks and should have a good chance of seeing the heart beat if there is one. I asked the consultant (s) to just do the scan quickly which they did. There was quite a gang gathered to see mine and they were all very positive. I also had a morula and a blast (don;t know whether early or not) and there was one strong heart beat flashing away and a clear picture of a head, body, legs and arms. This was on Christmas Eve.

What a lovely story. Thank you Lozster. It's horrendously scary. Don't know how I will get through the next 24hours. I certainly don't know how I will sleep tonight. I've never wanted anything more in my life than to hear a heartbeat. 2 hbs would be the biggest bonus ever, but 1 is all I need x
