Scared for tomorrow

I find out tomorrow if my 4th embryo transfer has worked. This is our last embryo. I'm not feeling very positive, but dreading being told I have failed again.

Well home test was negative, still have to have blood test to confirm. Gutted, no idea what to do next.

I know exactly how you feel, we had our 5th negative round. (5 in 2.5 years) only last week.

My advice would be - plan your a next steps. Never repeat exactly the same cycle, there's always something to learn from the last and change. I you can have the we embryoscopy £500.00 at our London clinic then have this as it really does identify any problem embryos to prevent them being transferred. We had a donor back up this round and because the donor sperm and my hubby's embryos were bru genetically affected it has highlighted there is on fact an egg problem too! In 4 rounds we had never known this.

We are just taking the difficult step of having an egg donor and a sperm donor - see my post - help needed.

One week on - we def. have our moments where we feel very sad but generally we still believe we will have our little family and all this pain will become a distant memory!
