Does Clomid have to be continuous?

Hi all,

Just on my 1st month of Clomid and I've been prescribed another two. Unfortunately, at the time when I will probably OV in month 3, I will be away on a course. Should I continue taking it despite this, or leave it until the next month?

Does anyone else have problems trying to get their consultant to answer the phone?! I know I should be asking them this, but I've been trying for the past week to get hold of her and all I get is the answer machine, saying please do not leave a message!

I asked my hosp if it was ok to take a break in July as I am going on Hols, and they said it would be fine. Just make sure they know! Can you send an email instead?

Also, mate of mine recently got a bfp on her month off of clomid!

I will keep trying - the answerphone message has changed now so that I can leave one of my own - hopefully they will get back to me! I have a month before I go on my course, I just like to be organised. No email address on the hosp website unfortunately.

That's great news for your friend, makes me feel better about taking a month off!

Although having said that, that was a really stupid thing to say as will be 150 miles away from DH on the crucial day so absolutely no chanc]of getting a bfp that month

Maybe he could make a flying visit? ;)
