Actively trying for a baby for the past 2 years with no success. Had three miscarriages

Hi,

I am Married for seven years and had three miscarriages. I have been trying for 2 years now but with no success. I have blood clotting disorder called factor v leiden. My blood starts clotting when I conceive. Doctors have advised me to take aspirin for that.

I get no success with my fertility. My doctor advised me to go for IVF. Just wanted to ask if somebody had success with IVF pregnancy and Factor V Leiden. I feel very upset and useless these days. I am 34 now. I feel so unlucky, going to see my doctor next week for IVF option.

There is no problem with my husband though, i feel so disturbed now. Please help!

If you have a look in the miscarriage section there's a thread called 'recurrant buns' which is full of lovely ladies at different stages of being tested and their treatments.

I wish you lots of luck. Miscarriage is a horrible, heartbreaking thing but hopefully now you have a diagnosis and a plan you will get your baby soon.

Hi MKumar, I found out I had a blood clotting issue and had to have IVF and a blood thinning injection everyday, maybe see whether ur doctor will try something like that. If u are able to do that it would save u a fortune
