Feel like giving up, Ivf failure

So the title says it all. Found out today that Ivf failed, I was hoping for a Christmas miracle. My husband keeps saying don't worry, relax over Christmas and we will try again next year, but I am struggling , I just can't face it all again, especially as it feels like its all for nothing.

I can't offer any promises that you'll get pregnant, but you must stay in a positive frame of mind. Can you speak to a counsellor at the hospital where you've had IVF?

Poor you ... How sad for it to have not worked out in time for Christmas. But this isn't your last chance. You can try again. Don't pin all your hopes onto this most recent attempt x

What is the reason formtour infertility, if you don't mind me asking? If
it's all getting too much, could you take a break?

Have a Brew, a Biscuit and a [hug] from me x

Huge hugs.

I don't agree that you should 'relax and not worry'. Let yourself grieve for the baby you thought you could have had. Let yourself give up, even if just for the time being. You can always 'un give up' next year. Focus on how you feel NOW instead of hurtling blindly towards the next try. Take care.
