Rabbit in the headlights

Hi all, I'm not sure what I'm hoping for from this post but I really do feel like a rabbit in the headlights and guess just needed to tell my story.

I had been experiencing strong stomach cramps for months backwards and forward from the Dr only to be told time and again it was a water infection. Anyway I'm lucky enough to have health care through my job so after the 5th visit asked to be refered, week later there iam full examination to be told my left tube was blocked and twisting and my right tube could be the same they would have to operate to remove the left and investigate the right. That was 3 weeks ago and I have now had the op and thankfully I have my right tube, which he unblocked amd managed to pass dye through. How long this will work for my consultant doesn't no. He has told me my best chances of conncieving a child is in the next 6 months after that I will likely need IVF.

I have Been with my DP for 2 years and he has a DD from a previous relationship. This in itself means we do not qualify for IVF so although we wasn't trying we are now giving it a go and seeing what fate brings our way. I love my partner dearly and wanted his babies, maybe not this soon but these are my cards and I intend to play them, guess just needed a bit of handholding it's been an emotional few weeks. Thank you ladies and cross your fingers for me xxxxx

Fingers crossed for you - but do check the criteria for funding in your area - in the North West of England some PCTs fund as long as you don't have children together.

Thank you we are in the South, we will qualify for a part, the early stages etc but will have to pay for the actual treatment
