I had two cycles here, and three babies but didn't know they were THAT good!

they're not 84 per cent.

the official stats on their wesbsit, although impressive, are much lower.

Bagofholly · 22/06/2012 20:10

The stats on the website are split by age. The 84% is overall success rate for first time patients I think.

how can it be from the stats published?

freelancescientist · 22/06/2012 21:27

Mmm, I'd take that 84% with a pinch of salt.

Incidentally the only results clinics are supposed to publish are like those on the official website as these are checked by HFEA and must include live births (hence being a year or so behind).

Bagofholly · 23/06/2012 00:17

freelancescientist afaik, the only stats they HAVE to generate are those required by the HFEA. But they're perfectly at liberty (along with all other private clinics) to publish their stats in whatever format they like.

In any event, not only do they have a consistently super-Hugh success rate, they're able to replicate it in the enormous number of patients they treat, year in, year out. It really is extraordinary whichever way you look at it.

It is fab and they are great BUT only if your FSH level is under 10.... which means that whatever they say they do cherrypick. If my FSH was low I would be there like a shot but as it's not they are not an option.
