Clear blue fertility monitor!

Hey ladies just wondering if ne one had tried clear blue fertility monitor. I finally gave in and brought one as after 4 years ttc I would try ne thing!!

Can I ask Sleepy Fergus, did you ensure you had sex on every day it was on medium and high? I found that I was on medium for approx 9 days plus on the first time of monitoring which wasnt exactly conducive to keeping things fresh and more spontaneous!!!

Hey there, in a word, no! I had quite long cycles, so would have high fertility for ages. Once I'd gotten to know my rough cycle, we started having sex every couple of days towards when I reckoned we were approaching peak fertility, and then sex on both PF days, and maybe the day after if we still had enough energy.

It took me 6 or 7 cycles to fall pregnant this time, and i do think that using the CBFM helped considerably. (For DD we were ttc for 3.5 years and ended up on fertility treatment, but being pregnant seemed to rejig my cycle and luckily we conceived this time around naturally. )

Thanks SleepyFergus, I am kind of hoping the same thing. I have had three rounds of ICSI and the last one we got preganant but miscarried very very early on. Never the less I hope too that this might have shown my system exactly what to do. I also wonder that with a combination of low sperm motility and a retroverted womb for me, we are much better to be trying before peak ovulation which we have never really focussed too much on before, the normal sticks kind of tell you too late I feel. medium fertility has lit up today, so here goes!!:-)

hi sally, i used ours and now have two beaufiful little girls. my cycles were really long so to be honest i wasnt ideal to use is but i thought ive nothing to lose., i got pregnant on my second month of trying it first time and first time the second time.

I used it for over a year and in the end realised that I was getting high days on the same days as my free P tracker app was telling me so ditched it and just used the iphone app. Still didn't get pregnant but it gave me useful data to give to the consultants.

Lent it to my friend and she got pregnant 1st month

I used one and never got a positive result just a really long medium reading and then after calling Clearblue I found out that I had been peeing on it for too long! Stick strictly to the instructions!
