Hi, I am just starting on IVF. My AMH was just under 20 and I am in my early 30s.
The doctor said someone my age with normal ovarian reserve would be on a does of 225 but they want to put me on 300.
I am just really scared of getting ill with e.g. ovarian hyperstimulation or something else. But obviously want to get enough eggs so that the cycle can take place. In an ideal world this treatment would result in 2 children (i.e. twins or 2 separate transfers the second using frosties).
I just wondered what others have to say on this - anyone else been offered this choice - what did they choose and how many eggs were harvested?
