Becoming a surrogate?

I am blessed with a child and would love to help somebody have their own. I have joined COTS and am awaiting more paperwork. I have everything I need and this is by no means for 'financial gain' and don't think that anybody should be denied the chance to have their own child.
Does anybody have any experience of surrogacy in the UK?

I am seriously considering a surrogate or rather gestational carrier as they are called for both sperm and egg. I submitted a post on the miscarriage board but it seems to have been removed. After miscarriage and at the age of 40, I don't know how long I have or the chances of mc again. I would love to know more about it and how to find someone who would dearly love to help another couple.
