Clomid...???

Dh and I have been TTC #3 since July 2010. Have had 2 MC's in that time, the last one was in April 2011. We have an appt at the recurrent misc/fertility clinic at the hospital on Monday.

I wanted to ask them about Clomid. I have heard good things about it, but don't know what it is/does. Can anyone help or adise me?

It's usually used to make women ovulate who don't ovulate unassisted. Some consultants think it give "better" ovulation in women who do ovulate by themselves. I have seen two different gynaes, one on each side of the fence so far!

I got pregnant with DD1 using clomid after a few years of trying and then second time it happened on it's own. It does have sone side effects but I wasnt really affected

I was taking Clomid / Clomiphene 50 mg in 2007 and it only took two cycles to become pregnant with my first daughter.
Taking my first round of Clomid this month
hoping it works as quickly as last time! :)
