We need an 'anonymous' egg donor, Liverpool Women's Hospital,can you help?

Hello! My husband and I have been trying for a baby for nearly nine years. We had a course of IVF 3 years ago but unfortunately my eggs did not respond as they should have and were advised we would need to use donor eggs.
We have been on a waiting list at Liverpool's Hewitt Centre now for over 2 years. We have been advised that the best way to speed things up would be for us to find our own donor. An absolutely great friend offered us her assistance but unfortunately she herself was unsuitable. Our preference is for an anonymous donation so we were wondering if there was anyone out there thinking of egg donation who would be willing to help us out? The egg donation coordinator has given us a unique code number so that anyone contacting them on our behalf is recognised in this way.

It's something I have been pondering doing, but never get around to finding out more about it/how to go about it?

I don't live anywhere near Liverpool, however, so don't know if me looking into it would/could help you at all.

Thanks ladies. If you could spread the word about egg donation it would be a great help to many women in my position. There is such a short supply of donors in this country. Many of the people that I speak to say that there really isn't enough awareness of the subject.

Hi, i´m posting really much later on here, but in case any one in the future looks at these posts, have you ever considered egg donation abroad? There are often no waiting lists, spain is known for this. I may people to help with more information if there is anyone out there that is looking for egg donation with no waiting list.

Hi, after a year of researching all about egg donation, I've finally decided to give it a go I would love to help people like you conceive a child It's been a long time since you posted this add, so I'm guessing you've already got a donor but I'd just like to say that hearing your story has definitely given me the motivation to go ahead, I think merseyside need more young people like me to to goin and help others!
