Just been on the news that 2 of them have changed their minds and think that he is guilty!

I can't believe they would come out and say that now!

Yes, what a shame for justice and the legal system that they didn't air their opinions more forcibly when discussing with the other jurors!

I wonder if they always thought that but were out numbered by the other jurors so kept quiet!

They must be tossers, quite frankly. I'm rather in the camp of "speak now or forever hold your peace" when it comes to things like this. If they thought he was guilty at the time, they should have said so. Unless new evidence has come to light, why should their opinions have changed since the trial?

What a load of tripe about them all sticking together then and making a pact!

According to the juror I heard about(who BTW has signed a book deal but "not for the money"!) She said that she thought he was guilty but there was a niggiling(sp?) doubt that the kid was lying and thats where "reasonable doubt" comes in.
As for the "not for the money" book deal...Yeah right!!

I can't believe that legally anyone is allowed to make money by writing a book / TV appearances about being on a jury and discussing the case. Can that be right?

Not allowed in the UK but in the US maybe the constitutional right to free specch trumps all?

I believe we should know more about jurors' deliberations, but making money out of it is another kettle of fish.

Televising stuff like this will always bring out the worst in people. They get seduced by the possiblity of having their own 15 minutes. Integrity goes out of the window.
