What do you think - letting the side down or a sensible approach?

i'm cutting down to 3 days a week after one child, why not? right now my boy wants to spend all the time in the world with me and i'm going to enjoy it.

I've only read the OP but what "side" is she supposed to be letting down? She made a personal decision that she feels is for the best. That's what we all do isn't it? I don't see why this should bother me.

This country has a long and fine tradition of slagging off the successful. And if those successful people are women, even more vitriol is poured on.

People critisised Cherie, saying she was made QC because of her conncetions. No, she's just a good barrister.

Now SamCam is getting it in the neck for having a non-job.

Does it just make people feel better about their own lives?
