I thought it was mad too. I did wonder that since his job was dealing with unexploded bombs if the court thought that back doing it was the best place for him.

Mind you he said he thought he was being chased. Do we want someone who imagines things to be dealing with bombs?

Hah hah, not sure it was true though. There was a comment on Radio 2 with a guy who was ex-army, now in the Police, who said that claiming they thought they were being chased is one of the most often used excuses by those caught speeding...

I think he should be able to drive army vehicles but lose his driving licence when he gets back to the UK, sort of a suspension I suppose.

dunno, suppose he's going through enough as it is doing that job, he was on motorway too

yea he should be allowed to potentially put hundreds of other motorway users at risk because he has a hard job...
