How very sad. I hope the publication of her book brings her some peace and a sense that justice has been done - now everyone will know the truth of what happened.

I couldn't believe what I was reading. How does one live with that?

i know, its gruesome. sounds like her husband has been her carer for years.

What an amazing woman. Despite the horror of her early life, she's lived a good life with what sounds like a wonderful man and raised her son well. She's had therapy and done what she can to be as healthy as possible. Inspirational.

It makes me think that we can all be free from the bondage of our parent's mistakes.

Oh God I wish I hadn't read that - I know one has to be aware but I can't bear that people can do things like that to a tiny new baby, whether they're alcoholic or not. I hope the bitch is burning in some serious sort of hell, I really do.
