oh dear apparently not enough political debate

OP posts:
OrmRenewed · 24/03/2010 14:00

Politics? Gosh no! I don't know anything about politics .

Where are the cuddly kitten threads and stuff about babies

ThePFJ · 24/03/2010 14:02

Kittens!

justallovertheplace · 24/03/2010 14:03

Fuck kittens, where's the handbag thread. ANd it really would be witless to make the obvious pun on her name. So I won't.

Iklboo · 24/03/2010 14:05

If I wanted to participate in political debate I'd join a political debate forum. If, on the other hand, I want to spend my lunch hour enquiring after Woofa's balls, getting support from MNers after my dog died or offering my support to other MNers then that's my business. And I couldn't give a funkey's muck what some journo has to say about it.

(can he have a ner ner ner ner ner emoticon?)

Iklboo · 24/03/2010 14:05

we have, not he have

ThePFJ · 24/03/2010 14:05

PMSL.

Justallovertheplace you are class.

paisleyleaf · 24/03/2010 14:05

Was she maybe one of our trolls yesterday?
I'm thinking the 'haven't you got anything better to do'? poster seemed to be coming from the same place.

StuffedFullOfNothing · 24/03/2010 14:08

I was quoted!

They can insult me all they like now.

ThePFJ · 24/03/2010 14:09

Probably, If you have nothing better to do than PISS OFF half the parents in this country then you obviously have a social death wish and a problem that probably can not be treated with some kind of ointment.

ImSoNotTelling · 24/03/2010 14:33

I don't really understand it, why the vitriol.

To call 850,000 people who happen to use the same forum "witless" is bizarre to say the least. She honestly believes that every single person on this forum is stupid? It is just weird. I don't feel the need to go around saying "everyone who buys the radio times is a twat" or whatever. Odd.

ThePFJ · 24/03/2010 14:46

ImSoNotTelling - You've said it in a nutshell. She is a nut.

junglist1 · 24/03/2010 16:41

"Witless" is a crap word anyhow. The correct term is "wattless" which is a variation of the lights are on but nobodys home

AntoinetteOuradi · 24/03/2010 16:43

I thought it was quite a good piece (for once).

OrmRenewed · 24/03/2010 16:44

And why should we give a flying fuck that she is pregnant anyway? It has nothing to do with anything....

StuffedFullOfNothing · 24/03/2010 17:10

Meh. Newspaper sales figures are falling off a cliff. Polemic ranting sells.

But we need not care for their good opinion!

Duh! Like we were ever going to engage in serious political debate on a thread devoted to Sam Cameron's pregnancy!

fool. Not SC of course.

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 24/03/2010 20:55

I agree I started a thread today about how the parties want to bitch about each other instead of focusing on outlining their policies.

Do you know how many replies I got?

None.

you're all too busy comparing boden dresses, soap opera plots and bumsex lubes.

nighbynight · 24/03/2010 21:15

The bitchier the election, the less clear water between the parties' policies....

2shoes · 24/03/2010 21:32

who is Liz chunt?? never heard of her

ThePFJ · 24/03/2010 23:09

LOL Justmytwopenceworth.

MmeLindt - Petition to stop Tesco selling lad's mags

Must say I've been meaning to contact the Co-Op / Somerfield about why I won't bother with their 'loyalty' card - if thousands of others complained about them having Nuts etc on shelving at a height of 4 foot, they might do something.

Asda locally has a "top shelf" and cardboard boxing so only the titles can be seen, while someone in Somerfield did put some sheets of paper across the front of several of the lads mags.

Don't get me wrong - I'm no prude, but they would not put Razzle or similar there, so why do they allow the trashy lads mags on those shelves? Just seems the lads mags have taken advantage of being lumped in with GQ or 'mens fitness' 'style' whatever they call themselves nowadays.

I think the Nuts etc mags were in a glossy from Tesco around Christmas for their "buy a subscription (and get Tesco points)" brochure, which seemed a big mistake.

But it's alright for her to call posters here 'witless' is it?
