Holy Moses!

LouIsOnAHighwayToHell · 22/03/2010 08:44

I remember seeing a documentary about these people when I was a kid. Made my trip to school seem quite boring really.

Hollyoaks · 22/03/2010 08:44

Bloody hell!!!!!

It puts some of my trivial worries for dd into perspective.

Portofino · 22/03/2010 08:45

Eek!

Merrylegs · 22/03/2010 08:45

And to think we were all thwarted by a little bit of snow!!!

That really is sticking it to the 'elf and safety brigade....

foxinsocks · 22/03/2010 08:47

LaurieFairyCake · 22/03/2010 08:50

that looks fun!

Skegness · 22/03/2010 09:04

I want to travel like that! How do they get back nhome, though? Agree that is a puzzler.

brimfull · 22/03/2010 09:05

so they have to pull themselves back?

stealthsquiggle · 22/03/2010 09:07

How cool is that - as for getting back, I guess if they are basically crossing straight across, as it were, then there could well be one wire sloping each way?

bluecardi · 22/03/2010 09:16

What a start to the day! - wasn't there a story a while back about some kids having to walk along a really high up narrow ledge.

lottiejenkins · 22/03/2010 09:31

I did an aerial slide a few years ago for the National Deafs Childrens Society. It was a childhood ambition fulfilled. When i was about seven years old i saw Simon Groom doing one on Blue Peter. He went from Tower Bridge over the Thames. When I did mine i went from the top of the HMS Belfast right over the river. Was the most exhilirating thing i have ever done!!!

choufleur · 22/03/2010 09:35

i wanna have a go.

Pofacedagain · 22/03/2010 17:15

I think actually it looks absolutely brilliant. Though of course I wouldn't want ds to do it. how assured that girl looked up there. Admirable.

Lucycat · 22/03/2010 17:19

lottiejenkins - i remember that too - the Simon groom one on Blue Peter - it looked fantastic - I'm quite envious of you having done it too!!
