here I have always got off the bus if a wheel chair needs to get on and to be honest this has probably happened once in the 3 years i have had DS. Not really sure why they're making a big deal about it really.

Fair enough, wheelchair spaces should be primarily for wheelchair users but labeling mothers with pushchairs a public menace!

I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old. No way I'd be able to hold both children and shopping and bags while on a bus or even fold my buggy with a baby in my arms and a toddler to control and shopping to carry, never mind stow the pushchair away safely if/when we managed to get on!!

This is one of the reasons why I never use the bus.
