You should really get a gig like that, you are funnier. But yes, that was very good. I am so tempted to try chatroulette, but a bit scared...

morningpaper · 06/03/2010 18:30

don't do it

I fear you will regret it

Caitlin Moran's new column in the Times was very funny last week

She MAY even be funnier than me

But I DOUBT SHE IS CHEAPER

She write "CelebrityAddict" (I think that's what it's called) for them too- it was rather droll about Cheryl Cole.

BitOfFun · 06/03/2010 18:45

OMG I just tried it- the first pic was a pair of shorts with a suspicious bulge, and I couldn't work out how to skip for ages. Honestly. Then a few random bored-looking students who all skipped me. Then I put the laptop in front of the dog, as suggested. She was actually a lot more popular than me.

morningpaper · 06/03/2010 19:15

LOL

I want a hamster or something....

I'd be terrified to try it, though I did pmsl at Zoe's article today.

I am too scared to click on half the links from here after that whole munting business.

Agree with bof that you are funnier mp. (sucking up emoticon And aye, cheaper than Caitlin an' all.

morningpaper · 06/03/2010 19:20

ohg od i cnatt imagine thinking of somehting novel everywek without it being todays thought of the day chez moi
" why do women of a certain age and horsey class wear really high waisted jeans that go RIGHT up their crack at the back giving a county tweedy thong effect"

thank you.

morningpaper · 06/03/2010 19:22

hmm yes my thought of hte day would be "Why are there SO many beards in the church of England?"

OP posts:
NumberOneEnemy · 06/03/2010 19:27

what are the beard hiding?
or arethey useful repositories for left over communion?

morningpaper · 06/03/2010 19:31

I think they might be relics of the past that it is our duty to maintain

like steeples etc

OP posts:
nickytwotimes · 06/03/2010 19:35

's true about the beards.

You don't see that with us Tims.

Well, except for mine.

We are generally less facially hirsute. Same with the presbyterians (am Scottish). WOnder if there is a cultural reason why C of E clergy are hairier?

morningpaper · 06/03/2010 19:41

TIMS what is a TIM?

OP posts:
nickytwotimes · 06/03/2010 19:43

A cathlolic.

Common parlance in SOuth West Scotland. SOrry, I forget sometimes.

Billies - protestants (from King Billy)

TIms - catholics ( no idea of origins )

morningpaper · 06/03/2010 19:48

I see

I was thinking of Tim Dowling

I often am TBH

OP posts:
BitOfFun · 06/03/2010 19:50

Apparently, there was a famous gang leader in Glasgow called Tim Malloy and he was catholic and hence the name Tim stuck with Glasgow Catholics.

BitOfFun · 06/03/2010 19:52

Did you scrum to get him too, MP?

morningpaper · 06/03/2010 19:53

no I completely missed him!

OP posts:
nickytwotimes · 06/03/2010 19:54

AH, yes, Tim DOwling is V.G

Ta for info BOF. I can now appear knowledgable on such matters.

diddl · 07/03/2010 13:44
