utah have passed a bill which states that women can be prosecuted for criminal homicide for intentional or 'reckless' behaviour which causes miscarriage at any stage of their pregnancy.

jesus wept, what with this and the Oklahoma abortion thing, I am just feeling extremely lucky to live where I do. And people complain about our nanny state?

WTF is going on in some places. I know that in Tennessee you have to have permission to have an abortion(from the father). A friend of mine had to lie and say it was a one night stand to get one.
This and the Oklahoma rulings are ridiculous!
