Is Piffle's exp ok?

Saw on a thread yesterday that he wasn't accounted for very early on - and have been wondering ever since whether he's turned up yet?

Son did tell me a reason but don't want to post piffle's private stuff here. He did actually say she is in hospital though, not that she was visiting.

Hello everyone thank you so much for caring and being worried and I am sorry I never got back earlier to say things were ok.
Exp is ok we did not find out until Thursday night though as very sadly one of his old flatmates is missing, they know he was on the Piccadily line heading out from Kings X and assume that he has not survived. So exp is very much caught up in the front line on this.
I'm fine, was taken to hosp with severe ovarian pain Friday morning, have been on drip and laproscopied, no answers, so back home, this has happened last 2 mths so am getting very desperate.
Another Lol at my ds!

Great to hear from you and glad DS's dad is OK but v sorry about your ovary problems and about the missing flatmate.

(Believe it or not 2 of my children have between them three 6-degrees-of-separation contacts - one missing, one in hospital and one who was in a train before a bomb.)

What exp has said which is really scary is that the amount of people who are looking for missing people total much much more than the number of dead reported, exp says he thinks the death toll could be substantially higher, which is devastating to hear.
SG absolutely fine to ring, when ds rung me in hosp this am he said oh mum, mumsnet says hi, I was pondering what when why HOW? And was hoping he had not logged on to mn and posted my gruesome details!
Must give him a kiss when he gets back from his mates later

piffle logging on a bit late as ever to hear your good news about exp. What a relief for you. Hope you are feeling OK too.
Horrible about exp's friend tho. One thing I did hear was that a lot of the people in hospital (ie survivors) had not been Id-ed (I guess because no ID on them (eg clothes blown off) and in no fit state to tell their name... so maybe that's it.
25 people still missing.

Oh Piffle - I have never been so pleased to hear from someone - glad ex-p is okay but I am sorry about the flatmate. I am sure it isn't as sinister as it sounds . . . so much confusion going on.

Piffle - so glad to hear exp's dad is ok - sorry to hear about his old flatmate though . Yes, it was me who had your number and feel a bit wimpish about not feeling brave enough to call, but was worried in case news wasn't good (iyswim), so thought under the circumstances you wouldn't mind if I passed it on to SG who is much braver than me . Hope you recover soon too and that they find what's bothering you before too long.
