HappyHuggy · 10/07/2005 01:23

jinglybits · 10/07/2005 01:23

hugs xx.

jampots · 10/07/2005 01:24

not wishing to make light of it - but are you sure they;re not on holiday?

jinglybits · 10/07/2005 01:25

keep trying, its all you can do.

jinglybits · 10/07/2005 01:25

hh said she spoke to him weds night and that he was going to work in the morn

jampots · 10/07/2005 01:29

ah sorry!

HappyHuggy · 10/07/2005 05:15

I dont really hate him was just upset

tatt · 10/07/2005 06:22

hh sorry if I've missed this but how did you come to meet? Is it possible he's given you a false number for his home? It is possible he's drawn closer to his wife and they have spent a weekend away.

does anyone know where there is a list of the dead? I used to work near russell square. Although I've lost track of most of the people I worked with I'd like to check they are OK. I've checked the missing list and there is no-one I knew on it.

jayzmummy · 10/07/2005 12:46

HH.
Still thinking of you and praying that you hear some good news soon.

zippy539 · 10/07/2005 13:03

HH - do you think you would recognise his second name if you saw it on a list - I'm sure you would. Also, if, God forbid, he is one of the unlucky ones, surely someone else would have reported him missing by now - his wife, family, collegues etc? Just try to keep positive. I guess there is also a possibility that he is not the one who has been hurt - it could be a member of his family (wife,parent..) and he is at hospital/preoccupied with that?

Bump

Im bumping this cause although i really really appreciate your concern i just cant cope with answering the same questions over and over, im sorry.

HTH

HappyDaddy · 10/07/2005 19:30

HH, I know you're going to hate me for saying this but I'm going to say it anyway. You've told me that his wife doesn't know about you so I think you're being rather selfish/stupid ringing his house. You also have only been talking to him for a couple of weeks so don't even know him that well. I'm sure my wife would be well pleased to find countless calls from a strange woman claiming to be just a friend.
In my opinion, you should sit tight and wait til he contacts you.

happy dadyy oyu soudn like an expert!

PrincessPeaHead · 10/07/2005 19:41

sorry to be brutal but if you don't know his name, don't know where he works, and his friends and wife don't know about you then it is hardly a close relationship.

maybe he is using the events of the day to break "it" off you, whatever "it" is....

HappyDaddy · 10/07/2005 19:45

Sorry, no fishfinger. I'm sorry but this smacks of attention seeking on HappyHuggy's part. She barely knows this guy but is trying to get sympathy from all of us on here.

Twiglett · 10/07/2005 19:45

"a couple of weeks"

SoupDragon · 10/07/2005 19:47

I'm going to be brutal too : stop phoning his wife. If (god forbid) the worst has happened or if she still doesn't know, the last thing she needs is a strange female "friend" phoning up.
