Update on piffle:

I have rung and spoken to her son. She is in hospital (not related to London incident) hence not posting. Don't think it is anything too serious, he didn't sound overly concerned. I have passed on everyones regards.

Huggy is busy taking a hoard of 5 year olds to the cinema so don't think we will hear an update from her for awhile.

hh are you a f? and he's been talking to you every night, can't go to bed without? ...not wishing to sound harsh and obviously not knowing details but could it be he's not been in contact because the life-and-death event has drawn him nearer to his wife? sorry completely if am on wrong track. just on positive side, could be an explaination rather than that he's been hurt.

You never know i suppose, but even if that is the case he would never ignore my phone calls and emials knowing i was worried about him.

but thank you for the ideas - it helps to have other possibities to consider
