I have managed to translate

Mumsnetters can have this space to use as they wish, on a topic of their own choosing.

Which roughly translates into English as:

mumsnetters will provide us with some antisexist copy. It must be contravershal (sic)

and

By 9am.

Which roughly translates as

You work for me.

Is anyone else learning this ancient language from the 1980s? And if yes please feel free to share your own tranlation work.

Though to be frank, the new 'are you social' patois is FAR more arse-curling.

'listening to the conversation' indeed. Go away admen I wasn't talking to you.

"We understand your objections and apologise for the hurt caused"

translates as

"The is no longer anywhere that is 'outside of the advert': all of your antipathy is gobbled up by us, yum."

ZephirineDrouhin · 11/01/2010 11:48

V good SnowWorm. This is the long and the short of it.

jackstarbright · 11/01/2010 12:02
