After being in a road traffic accident whilst using mobile phone, not complying with Road Traffic Act by leaving her details at scene i.e her name , registration and detaisl of car etc.

Bascially got off - what a piddlely fine !

I think it is pretty much what would be handed out to anyone else (or anyone with a good lawyer who tells them not to reveal income details and to plead guilty)

She wasnt prosecuted for the mobile phone as she was charged for the same act under the 'due care and attention' charge which is more serious

She should have left her details but i think you can (if you dont leave details) report accident to police within a time limit, perhaps she did that?

Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. I think she's got what 'normal' people would get. I can't be 100% but I'm not convinced this isnt a bit of hyperbole by the good old DM.

But I'm willing to be proved otherwise if someone can link to the laws and punishments etc!

You can report within 24hrs , but the arrogrance of it all , perhaps she was in a rush to see some porn films .
