Alastair Campbell blogs on biscuitgate

I know you all drool over his trousers respect Campbell's sharp wit and insightful thoughts on the political issues of the day e.g. bisuits.

I must confess I too am not a great fan of mn's favourite power couple. Or maybe that should be "second favourite". I do feel I must be missing something but their charm eludes me.

bernadetteoflourdes · 21/10/2009 01:20

Campbell is a sodding opportunist, he loathed GB and now his head is so far up the Prime Ministerial arse they had to send in the search party. I heard that Campbell was refused service and asked to leave a fiercely
Highland anti Clan Campbell pub in Scotland.
The Cambpells are loathed in the Western Highlands for their treachery and siding with the enemy in the 18th century (Sounds a bit like dear old Al!)

bernadetteoflourdes · 21/10/2009 01:28

Yeah and Al we haven't forgotten your "sexed up fucking dossier" either. Why should you be sodding rehabilitated and presented as Mr Squeaky clean. "Some" would say you have a lot of blood on your hands, and you were responsible for the hounding of Dr Kelly, (MNHQ will probably remove this, but there is nothing libellous here, the facts are out there m/netters don't ever forget.) Latest Iraq death toll 100,000 it could be many more someone help me! The man is vain at best and pure evil at worst. I make no apologies.

morningpaper · 21/10/2009 08:26

ermmm

Good god - Martha Kearney has just trailed biscuitgate on the World at One in half an hour. The world has gone mad.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 21/10/2009 12:49

"I heard that Campbell was refused service and asked to leave a fiercely
Highland anti Clan Campbell pub in Scotland."

well that is just fucking stupid...

SomeGuy · 21/10/2009 13:13

kicking him out for being a Campbell is stupid, but kicking him out for being A. Campbell is very sensible.

morningpaper · 21/10/2009 13:14

I wouldn't kick him out or refuse him service

OP posts:
AitchTwoToTangOh · 21/10/2009 13:15

oh yes, you should definitely bully people who you think are bullies, someguy, that's very sound.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 21/10/2009 13:15

lol mp.

SomeGuy · 21/10/2009 13:26

Refusing service is a publicans right. It is not bullying, FFS. You could start with www.chickyog.net/2006/10/13/depression-dossiers-and-death-campbell-confesses/ if you were looking for just cause.

MadameDefarge · 21/10/2009 13:28

It might be their right, SG, but it doesn't stop it being fucking stupid to refuse someone because they have the same surname as people who committed crimes hundreds of years ago....

pah!

morningpaper · 21/10/2009 13:28

he can sex me up any time he

OP posts:
AitchTwoToTangOh · 21/10/2009 13:29

someguy, can't you take any criticism at all?

MadameDefarge · 21/10/2009 13:30

oph, MN on World at One indeed!

policywonk · 21/10/2009 13:51

COme on Zeph, wot did Martha say?

Agree Campbell is thigh-deep in some pretty nasty stuff but his blog is so marvellously muscular and partisan (nearly typed parmesan there>

MadameDefarge · 21/10/2009 13:59

She mentioned biscuitgate and asked the panel (one being Peter Haynes) what there fave was, and then said something about dumbing down!

Alastair has updated his blog on biscuitgate, exonerating the PM as "MN sifted the questions and gave them in batches" so perhaps he really didn't see it....

policywonk · 21/10/2009 14:07

Thanks. Tanya Gold was on about it in the Grauniad yesterday. She doesn't fancy yours much MD

morningpaper · 21/10/2009 14:07

he is welcome to get thigh-deep in my nasty stuff

(actually that sounds a bit grim doesn't it?)

story of my life, PW, story of my life...

Dumbledoresgirl · 21/10/2009 14:13

Only read OP and first part of the blog.

But are you telling me when GB came online to "chat" with Mners, he didn't actually read the thread he was chatting on?

Is that how he normally "chats"?

dg, his eyesight is really bad so maybe he didn't? i'd rather presumed that he meant that he'd missed some in the scrum, which was easily done.
