Isn't one of the Tweenies the Grandad? So it must be ok with Ofsted.
I'd leave my DD with Granny Murray but never with Miss Hoolie. The whole Balamory thing is a bit sinister,(makes me think of the Wicker Man) however I'm sure that Ofsted would give the Balamory nursery an outstanding.....

yes, Max seems to have a granddad look about him - but whose grandad? And who is Judy?

Geocentric · 30/09/2009 14:31

Don't know about CeeBeebies (don't have it here) but I'd love to leave the kids with Grandpa Max from Ben 10 - maybe they'd actually learn to eat something interesting for a change!!!!!! And on-the-go geography lessons too...

Simplistica · 30/09/2009 14:32

I thought JUdy = Nursery Lady;Max = handyman and they do have a Grandad to Milo (who seems to be carer) but he is max n a get up

ROFL

Send health and safety round to Big Cook Little Cook's cafe while you're at it. Would love to see them closed down for unhygenic use of a broomstick. Or something. In any case, surely its not a profitable enterprise. They only seem to have one customer a day.

granny murray gets on my tits quite frankly - bloody patronising platitudes perhaps she could turn some of those inane cliches to herself. Gok Wan would have a lot to say to her imho

cyberseraphim · 03/10/2009 14:21

Peppa and George don't wear seatbelts in their car. The Large family do wear seatbelts but they don't have child/elephant car seats!

Billy's parents are very concerning and where are Mandy's carers too? SWs need contacting

purepurple · 03/10/2009 16:04

I couldn't afford childcare when DS was small, so he was brought up by a train called Thomas and a car called Brum. It hasn't done him any harm.
When DD was small, she was left in the car of 4 teletubbies and the Tweenies.
God, I've screwed my kids up, haven't I?

isittooearlyforgin · 03/10/2009 22:14

my ds, who is not very vocal at the best of times, has among his rather limited vocab - peppa, brum and la la - feel his upbringing may have been a little influenced by auntie beeb
