Speak for yourself

I saw that and sighed, yet another tarring everyone sort of day then

MotheringHeights · 02/09/2009 16:58

I love the way they've circled 'UK' in the graph. Just in case you can't spot it hidden in there.

TheDMshouldbeRivened · 02/09/2009 17:02

nearly 1 in 10 have low educational acheivement. so 9 in 10 are doing pretty well then....

AnybodyHomeMcFly · 02/09/2009 17:04

They've done a classic trick with the teen drinking graph too - cut it off at 35% which makes 33% (UK figure) look at first glance like 95%. Tsk

IUsedToBePeachy · 02/09/2009 17:05

Yeah Riven but we all know thate ducational achievement sin't worth the aper it's written on, we're dumbing down and need a return to national service LOL

HerBeatitude · 02/09/2009 17:16

They must be so annoyed that the OECD report has also said that the consequences of growing up in a single parent family are actually not very much if you factor in all the other variables like money.

I notice they didn't focus on that bit of the report...

since when has the Dm let facts get in the way of a good story?

SolidGoldBrass · 02/09/2009 17:33

Own up, who posted a comment and signed it Juan Kerr?

HerBeatitude · 02/09/2009 17:48

LOL at Juan Kerr - he posted something quite good.

Liked Lisa in Richmond or wherever it was as well and Tom in London's rejoinder.

Where are the DM moderators today?
