I doubt the moderator works evenings. Also they stop approving posts after a couple of days (silently). You might have to wait till next week.

MrsGladpuss · 22/08/2009 01:19

maryz I had same problem. If you click the blue hyper link at top of the article where it says "comments(52)" just below Last updated... it should work.

They are hysterical. However, I am having some trouble distinguishing the piss take ott right-wing mum bashing from the ott right-wing mum bashing

Spidermama · 22/08/2009 01:41

Excellent work!

Very funny.

savoycabbage · 22/08/2009 03:11

I absolutely wet myself reading those. Especially the baked potato and when Plain Jane from Smugshire was corrected for saying we should return to British dishes like lasagne by poor Heather.

Ms Bulger should be the MN Queen

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 22/08/2009 10:48

Ms Bulgar here! They even edited my post so someone did read it! They took the part out about meat being karmically bad for children as it contains negative energy. And I kept referring to it as 'flesh'. So militant vegetarianism isn't ok by the DM but smug parenthood is just fine

Ponders · 22/08/2009 13:26

The wooden spoon was inspired

TheOnlyDailyMaleForMeisDH · 22/08/2009 13:34

Am quite cross they haven't published any of mine yet

Wonder is Leah is still off the wagon after hearing how much fun we are having with her article

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 22/08/2009 13:38

I haven't read all this thread but the post about the mum using a wooden baby spoon cooking from scratch - is that a MNer?

Rindercella · 22/08/2009 13:53

You missed Stella from Tunbridge Wells. Thankfully her thoughts were not real and just my interpuration of someone who would regularly post on the DM comments pages

I was quite chuffed I was the first

OhYouBadBadKitten · 22/08/2009 13:54

They haven't sent me a confirmation email.

mamalovesmojitos · 22/08/2009 13:59

ROFL well done ladies! particularly taken with ms bulgar's post.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 22/08/2009 14:10

Yes fab it was me

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 22/08/2009 14:21

Fantastic!!

MrsFlittersnoop · 22/08/2009 14:25

I've been censored by the DM! The swine!

I originally posted:

"More proof that NuLabor is bent on destroying our traditional way of life.Tiny tots should NOT be forced to eat humerous sandwhiches and "Rice Cakes" and come home from school stinking of garlic . What is wrong with nice British Cornish pasties and sausage rolls? Banning ham from British schools is just the first step towards banning ALL pork products from our shores thus pandering to the multicultural PC brigade

Rindercella · 22/08/2009 20:47

The first time one of my comments has ever appeared in the MN talk round-up, and it is actually bloody Stella's from Tunbridge Wells, "Us tax payers will end up funding these children's fussiness. As usual". And attributed to Xesmub from Davidtennantshire

And MrsF, I cannot believe the DM did not publish "thus pandering to the multicultural PC brigade"! That is a total shocker

poppy34 · 22/08/2009 20:53

Genius - trouble is bet the next article doesn't have the fAcility to comment on

FairyMum · 22/08/2009 20:54

Very funny, but they could probabably all be genuine DM comments I think.

Tidey · 22/08/2009 20:58

Grin Grin Grin

HumphreyCobbler · 22/08/2009 21:04
