I have been arguing that (less accountable) corporates represent, perhaps, a greater threat with our data than govt.

Ironically, I think, in the end, we will need bio-scan or even ID cards as part of a high security system for protecting our IDs.

I had to laugh, the TSB called me trying to sell me some insurance that basically protected my account. Spent 40 mins arguing that as long as I didn't reveal my passwords, pin I considered that I'd done my bit.
Since we now have to be paid into a bank account for wages, CB etc etc and cannot function without a bank account I cannot believe the effing cheek of them wanting us to pay to protect our own money.
I am not having an ID card because banks cannot use their own technology properly.

TDiddyIsaMan · 19/07/2009 16:33

They'd be gutted if they ended up with my identity.

TDiddyIsaMan · 19/07/2009 17:03

perhaps there will be a a new crime where people try to project their IDs on to others!
