I just don't understand all the ranting and raving about the fact that you MIGHT get it!

Flu viruses can survive on hard surfaces for 72 hours. Handwashing means that you're less likely to touch your face with hands carrying the virus, and so less likely to get infected that way. Obviously, it's not going to prevent someone sneezing over you, but it is a useful precaution.

A parent at the Pre-school has not sent in her child this week, it was the school party today.
She is fit and well and the parents want to keep it that way, so they have decided to stay away from all other kids for the next 6 weeks and are going to drive to France to a secluded farmhouse and get all food delivered.
They are doing that now, Tesco delivers their food.
I stopped over to give the child their present and i kid you not she would not come within 3 foot of me.
If you are going to get it, you'll get it.
Best to catch it now and get natural immunity whilst it's benign.
