Who is perfect? Isn't the perfection of human nature some pipe dream of Communism and Marxism? Wasn't it taken to the ultimate extreames in totalitarian regimens, which resulted in more murder than the Nazi's could have imagined??

Who built those madrassas? Saudi. Where did their money come from? From our oil purchases. Any idea where a lot of that more recent money came from? The Thatcher-established Al Yamamah Project to sell 2nd hand Tornadoes to them in the 1980s. Yes some of it went to Bandar Bush but I read on blogs that a lot of that money ended up in Wahhabi hands. Our very own oil purchases have funded this cancerous ideology. we bought their oil as cheap as possible allowing them to do what they wanted regarding human rights and freedom and democracy. And now we are paying a huge price.

Much of the rise of Al Qaeda can be traced back to the Saudi decision to invite Britain and America to defend Kuwait. One man offered to help sort out what should have been seen as a local difficulty. He was ignored by the late Saudi King Fahd. His name was Osama Bin Laden.

We are inextricably linked up in this problem more than most realise.

The Saudi's and Wahhabists funded much of Obama's presidential campaign.

You will never see a kmainstream film about the dark side Islam without it also being anti-american. All use the the creed of the noble savage. Think Syrianna, Munich, Redacted. This is because Saudi Wahhabist money is the main funder of Hollywood.

To have a truely pro-western film made, filmmakers are resorting the tactics of dissidents - wrapping the story in history and analogy, such as 300.

Bugger. I just read my comment back and I was a bit blunt! I wasn't looking for the sympathy vote. My brother was 42 when he died. He knew what he was doing and what he signed up for. We were told not to worry about him because he was doing what he loved.

My db is 40, and he does what he loves. It would still leave a big hole in my life if he didn't come back from Afghanistan next year; not to mention his wife, his 2 dc's and my mum.

We owe men like him who know that we have real enemies in the world who would do us great harm if they had the chance. Threats all seem far away when written about in the papers, then some intent on harm slip through our defences - 9/11, 7/7 - bus and cafe bombs every day in Israel before the security fence.

These are not just disgrunted people wanting 'justice'. They want to destroy us.

That's true monkey. They hate us indeed.
