blooo.dy. hell!

this is so different to my two experiences of birth, I just don't know what to say!

cocolepew · 08/06/2009 20:15

Good job she was wearing them awful harem pants, the poor baby could have been lost for weeks

Hassled · 08/06/2009 20:17

Wouldn't her knockers have got in the way?

Hassled · 08/06/2009 20:18

knickers, not knockers. It wasn't a Carry On film.

cocolepew · 08/06/2009 20:21

Lol I thought you were being very pass remarkable there Hassled

mollyroger · 08/06/2009 20:21

ROFL Hassled. I didn't see your clarification...was thinking you were being a right bitch about her bosoms getting int he way...

Reallytired · 09/06/2009 13:25

"'My other births definitely weren't this easy and I will always recommend standing up to do it in future.' "

I think this is an excellent piece of advice. My daughter narrowly missed being born down the toilet.

congratulations to her and her family

funtimewincies · 09/06/2009 13:33

And I though that my pelvic floor was shot !

blondissimo · 09/06/2009 13:44

Although I am still laughing at Hassled, my initial reaction was the same - how did baby navigate the pants?
Maybe she was commando.

uberalice · 09/06/2009 13:56

lucky cow!

DeepGoat · 09/06/2009 13:56

god this is so monty python

BitOfFun · 09/06/2009 14:01

Apparently the Mail wouldn't have illustrated the story if she was middle-class, as m/c women have to be photographed in skirts. I bet you didn't know that...s'true

TheCrackFox · 09/06/2009 14:05

"The unexpected birth happened so quickly that Katherine did not feel any pain as the baby arrived...."

Megglevache · 10/06/2009 12:20

Good job she wasn't wearing treggings eh?

Poor baby would still be there. My friend had a similar birth, in fact just before her daughter shot out she said to her husband and MW, I think it's a contraction, it sort of hurts like a tunny ache I guess

foreveroptimistic · 10/06/2009 12:36

This story is making me laugh

bethoo · 10/06/2009 12:42

when i gave birth standing up it was agony but then i should have been on pethidine
