I am struggling to see what the problem is! Here.

OP posts:

Agree with funcking nutters comment.

I was also going to comment on the baby bottles that are part and parcel of accessories for dolls.

BUT BUT BUT The child looks distressed. It doesn't look 'normal' The child should be looking down lovingly at the doll not looking alarmed that something is under her t-shirt so maybe it's that aspect that the nutters have picked up on

ellingwoman · 26/05/2009 11:49

fucking nutters obviously...

GooseyLoosey · 26/05/2009 11:50

Does no one else feel slighly uncomfortable with this poster?

solidgoldSneezeLikeApig · 26/05/2009 11:51

It's a bit of a crappy poster but the 'outraged' brigade really are a bunch of fuckwits.

MmeLindt · 26/05/2009 11:53

The poster is pretty shite, tbh. Not the idea behind it but the photo, the wee girl does not look as if she were really playing at breastfeeding.

But I agree with MayorQ. The comment

"One concerned contributor wrote: 'It is the sort of picture that a paedophile would show a kid to say look it is OK to do that because it is what grown-ups/mothers do. What next.'"

is so incredibly stupid, only the Daily Mail would publish it.

FabulousBakerGirl · 26/05/2009 11:55

The world has gone mad

Castiel · 26/05/2009 12:29

I no longer know how to spot a paedophile. Apparently they're in a Rochdale hospital nicking posters. Or they're lurking and looking shifty. I mean, the lone man on the park bench with a box of fruit salads, is he one to look out for? The tabloids like their "paedo" references, I wish they could just include a handy pull out guide so there's no more confusion. I'm visiting a friend in a neonatal unit later. Any man near the bfing posters is a kiddy fiddler (sic). Yes?

ellingwoman · 26/05/2009 12:56

at Castiel.

They are obviously lurking everywhere and we need to carry our children on our backs until they are 25.

Oh god no, that's no good, what about if they are following you, taking photos etc..

Maybe a shopping trolley might be better. Yes! Phew! This parenting lark is hard.

DeborahWinter39ofRochdale · 26/05/2009 13:04

oh, i have a new judgey name!

Paolosgirl · 26/05/2009 13:07

Wait a minute - she's 39, she has a grandson and she's from Rochdale? I bet the DM had to really bite their tongue there....can just imagine the tussle they had with themselves over which story to run with there

Castiel · 26/05/2009 13:09

Paedophiles can disguise themselves as shopping trollies. I read it in the Mirror. Deborah Winter, 39 of Rochdale was out shopping for Ignorance Biscuits and one loomed up in aisle 4 disguised as a handbasket.

DeborahWinter39ofRochdale · 26/05/2009 13:09

wot you saying paolo - is that a fecking foreign name. [runs off to quote to dailymail about foreigners]

DeborahWinter39ofRochdale · 26/05/2009 13:10

pmsl castiel

Castiel · 26/05/2009 13:10

We're still waiting to find out if she's on benefits Paolosgirl. I can't judge until I know.

DeborahWinter39ofRochdale · 26/05/2009 13:11

wot you mean you can't judge until you know - since when have facts got in the way of blanket judging - get with the program castiel.

Paolosgirl · 26/05/2009 13:12

LOL Deborah

ellingwoman · 26/05/2009 13:12

This is the first thread for ages that's actually had me in tears of laughter! Thanks laydees

Paolosgirl · 26/05/2009 13:13

I also want to know if both she and her DD are single.

Let the judging begin!

DeborahWinter39ofRochdale · 26/05/2009 13:14

just realised castiel reads the mirror - pleb [runs outside to apply camoflage begonia sticker to wheely bin]

potatofactory · 26/05/2009 13:20

!!! I was at a garden centre yesterday, and I saw these WHEELIE BIN stickers!! What? Why? (And most importantly) WHO???

What do they signify? Why would you?

Etc...

Castiel · 26/05/2009 13:21

Read the mirror? No, I like the pretty pictures. It's my daily comic fix.

I'm sure with some blanket ignorance and poorly researched statements we can link the bfing posters to immigrants. It's all connected surely in a massive judgmental, misogynistic, blinkered dot to dot.

DeborahWinter39ofRochdale · 26/05/2009 13:21

it is so no one need know the shame of your wheelie bin - obviously! [runs off to order radiator covers]

DeborahWinter39ofRochdale · 26/05/2009 13:22

i don't research, poorly or otherwise i simply open my mouth adn channel my arsehole

Castiel · 26/05/2009 13:23

Is it like covering your table legs so your gentlemen visitors don't get over-excited and spill their earl grey on the lace cloth?

DeborahWinter39ofRochdale · 26/05/2009 13:24

nah its just what everyone else on the street does and i go 'baa' and copy it.
