What is the IPCC playing at?

beanieb · 22/04/2009 20:21

THey said it would 'interfere with their investigations' What they mean is - make them more transparent.

You're not a Londoner are you, beanie? There's a meeting of the Met Police Authority (public watchdog) on May 30 at City Hall, and they'll be debating a motion condemning the police tactics at the G20. Thought I might go along - should be an impressive bunfight at the very least.

beanieb · 22/04/2009 20:30

The footage on channel 4 is a lot clearer.

No - not a Londoner, did work there for a while. I do know people who might be interested in going though.

Here's the link about the motion

Although I'm looking at the MPA site and it doesn't have a meeting listed for May 30 - I'm confused

Will try to sort it out tomorrow when brain hopefully functioning

Right, the Green Party website had it wrong (well done, guys!) - the meeting's on April 30. Here, item 6b.

Think I will still try to go, although will have small child issues.
