The dress is hideous but the colour suits fergie far better, and Amanda Platell is a vacuous idiot, so I'm another vote for fergie on this one.

As for the other article, which I haven't read because I don't need to, we need to bear in mind that the Daily Mail FEMAIL section is written for women in their 50s and 60s (not all women in their 50s and 60s - just the ones who would read and agree with this drivel) who basically hate other women, particularly mothers of young children.

AP is obviously very insecure and has written the whole thing in a vain (in both senses of the word) attempt to fish for compliments. Looks like it's backfired - on here, at least!

I'll never forget The Day I Read The Daily Mail. It is seared on my memory.

I was on holiday in Spain and the local international newsagent had run out of proper newspapers, so I bought it to read by the pool.

It's my DP I feel sorry for - listening to me getting increasingly irate to the point of rage, and endlessly reading bits out to him and expecting him to kick off in similar ballistic fashion (he just calmly asked for the sports section).

It is a hate filled newspaper which particularly despises women. It should be illegal under the race and sex discrimination acts imo but I suppose it gives grist to our mill - and reminds us what we're up against out there.

Oh and AP looks like an ugly bitch in that dress.
