Another OK cover featuring Jade Goody

I know that OK magazine paid tonnes of cash which is now going to go to supporting Jade's sons and I know this was her decision. But I saw the cover of OK today, it's a photo from the wedding, she's crying and the quote featured on the cover is something along the lines of 'I don't want to leave you' and it feels to me like exploitation of a dead woman. The idea that her sons could walk into a newsagents and see it makes me feel very uncomfortable. Surely it's time for OK to let her rest in peace?

There's about as much chance of OK stopping the Jade covers as there is of the Daily Express stopping the Diana stories. She's been dead for 12 years and they still run a story on her every week.

How would you know that unless you had searched for Jade on ebay? And why would anyone buy a second hand newspaper, when mllions of the things are printed and if they'd cared that much they just would have kept it?

Lots of things are front page news. Jools Oliver having a baby is front page news. Jordan's latest tit job is front page news (in some rags anyway). Jack Tweed eats curry is front page news. There was a reason MN made the sleb twaddle catagory - it was for, well, twaddle about celebrities that isn't actually news. News is the NATO summit in Strasbourg. This is twaddle.

it's not news though is it? And let's be honest, ok magazine/the sun/the daily mail/the rest of the trashy mags don't actually come under the banner of reputable sources of news.

If people didn't buy this shite,the mags wouldn't print it.

Personally I'd hoped that the funeral would have meant the end of it all. Because tbh I think it's boring.

I think now is the time for the press to let go, she did what she set out to do, her sons are going to be ok (as long as their Dad keeps them away from some of her family).

I thought her lovely tacky funeral was pure Jade (although did think it strange that the flowers spelt out everything except mummy), she had the last laugh at herself. It is now time to let her have peace and someone else have the front page of the airheads daily read.

gm my mate told me as shes pre order jg new book as she had the rest of em!!!!!!! also the end of the day she did say she was like marmite you love /hate her i dont blame her for making tons of money for her two sons but she needs to rest in peace now and its not on ppl are going to her grave taking pics etc it morbid and its not on

There's nothing left to report on now. We'll prob see loads of pics of jack......with women! And those will be the 'headlines' the press will crucify him ( my opinion) he'll be criticized for everything he does..... And it will sell papers on the back of the whole jade story!

I think it'll go on for a bit longer, the boys arrival back from Oz, Jack Tweed and Jackiey Goody looking mournful, coverage is already going on of how the family hope people don't treat the grave as a shrine

What importance is this to the world? How does reading this article improve or alter your understanding or opinion of an important issue? How does this article enrich human knowledge?

Er, it doesn't. It's twaddle. If you really can't see the difference between NATO and non stories about Jade, then OK magazine is probably about the right level for you.

Well I didn't mind OK doing the covers when she was alive and the money was going to her dcs, but I did see one advertised (although have never bought one) about Jack and my life after Jade. I did care about Jade, as a young mother I thought it was tragic for her to die so young, plus I have luckily never lost a close member of my family so it is strange to understand somebody dieing so young. However, now she is dead, I truly don't give a hoot what happens to either Jack or Jackie and would not buy or read a word of anything they have written. I think they are both reprehensible people who need to take a hard look at themselve and not try selling any part of their stories.

captainp,the ok story with jack was done under Jades request.
Jack never got a penny from Jade following her death and because of this she advised and persuaded him to do an interview following her death. She wanted him to do it to allow him to make something for his future..

ALSO kimi, apparently there were flowers at the funeral from the babies..spelling out "mummy".
