Really hope they are found safe and well.

Kimi · 17/03/2009 17:17

I think this is going to have a sad ending. Poor woman,

Nabster · 17/03/2009 17:18

I felt the same as you Kimi when I read about it. Was heartened that neighbours reported them missing (how many of us would notice if someone went AWOL?) but that it appears she has had enough.

2shoes · 17/03/2009 18:16

It sounds worring if the mum didn't take any of her dd's walking aids with her

Sad
Kimi · 17/03/2009 19:42

papers said they were searching local lakes

bubblerock · 17/03/2009 19:47

I saw this on the Missing programme this morning

nametaken · 17/03/2009 19:47

I know the mum she was on a course I attended. Lovely lady.

bubblerock · 17/03/2009 19:50

There's a picture here of them

5inthebed · 17/03/2009 21:26

I read this today. Its very worrying and very sad. I also don;t think it will have a happy ending, especially as she left her daughters aids at home as well as the car.

2shoes · 17/03/2009 21:49

oh god I hope it doesn't have a bad end

OP posts:
2shoes · 18/03/2009 10:00

has there been any news?

OP posts:
2shoes · 18/03/2009 13:38

they have just said on the news that 2 bodies have been found in a lake and they are believed to be that of the mother and daughter.
what an evil thing to do

cp is mentiond here
that is what I linked to on the other thread.

Fio of course I worry, what has that got to do with it?

How can you possibly judge 2shoes
You don't know anything about them

This is so awful, RIP

Kimi · 19/03/2009 10:20

I was afraid this would be how it ended, so so sad.

2shoes · 19/03/2009 11:12

well I can and I will

Kimi · 19/03/2009 12:15

DH said it was murder but I do not think it is black and white.
The mother obviously had sever problems to do what she did.
There but for the grace of God, no one knows why a person would take their own life and that of their child.

If she did it to keep the child from the other parent that would be evil, but no one knows.

2shoes · 19/03/2009 12:52

Kimi I agree with your DH.

OP posts:
JaneSeymour · 19/03/2009 13:02

But 2shoes, don't you see, you cannot judge without the facts
You can only prejudge
or misjudge

Which is no use to anyone apart from your own sense of detachment

Kimi · 19/03/2009 13:24

Maybe the stress of looking after her daughter got too much, maybe her and her partner had split, maybe she was very depressed , maybe she had money worries, we just don't know

Gorionine · 19/03/2009 13:37

I think the amount of distress that must be experienced to decide that ending your life and the one of your child must be extream. I think that it is very natural to be chocked but I would not dare judging. No-one would do that sort of thing if everything in their life was fine. Very very .

2shoes · 19/03/2009 13:38

maybe it was an accident
sadlt this isn't the first incident like this.
much is made of how the mother must have been depressed and so on.
but for me a child has died. a father will never hold his dd again.
so "if" the mother did kill her child I will judge.
